So Paul Krugman, a New York Times columnist has jumped on the wagon with the rest of the Liberals who believe themselves to be in control other peoples destiny. Mr. Krugman thinks that the death-panels in the Obama health care is necessary to cut medical cost due to the National debt. At a round table discussion he stated that several years from now death panels and sales tax combined will be the solution. He believes the government will get Medicare under control and then a Vat tax will eliminate the debt problem.
Has he lived with his head in the sand? STOP SPENDING and STOP SPENDING would be the combination needed to cut the debt. How about the worthless Stimulus package that was going to produce jobs for the American people? Approximately $2Billion dollars got 39 jobs. Quite an expensive effort on the tax payers part.
Obama’s healthcare committee has the power to employ completive pricing and cost analysis, the same system used in Britain which rations medical care and treatment to the elderly.
Krugman believes the Federal government will need death panels once the Baby Boomer generation retires, suggesting the cost of medical care will soar. Ok, any one born between 1941 and 1960, we’re on our way out. They already have the plan laid for us.
However, after the show ended, Krugman posted on his website that basically he did not mean what he said. He posted, What I meant was, Health care cost will have to be controlled and Medicare and Medicaid will have to decide what they a willing to pay - not really death panels - of course.
His rating, if he has one apparently was hard hit. Or perhaps he is not a person who says what he means when he is under camera lights on a TV round table discussion.
In essence on his website he tried to kick the dirt over his waste to hide it. He still claimed we need more taxes and get Medicare and Medicaid to decide on their part, and then we ought to be on our road to recovery. Yeah right Krugman!!!!
He has just this year written several articles about death panels, of course in which he attacked the Conservatives, including Sarah Palin for her stand against death panels.
He says it may be politically impossible to accomplish using his solutions, but perhaps during the Chelsea Clinton administration it just might happen. Hmmm, I had no clue there was going to be a Chelsea Clinton administration. Maybe Krugman reads the future with more accuracy than saying what he means.
