The public school menu is not fit for human consumption, but the “lunch police” appointed by the government since Michelle Obama stepped in to ensure school children across America are eating NUTRITIONAL lunches, claim school lunches are better for the children than brown bagged lunches.
The big hoopla about children and their school lunches began shortly after the Obama’s took office. Michelle began her “gardening” and from that piece of dirt and her failed vegetable garden she decided that all soft drink machines, candy bar machines etc. must be removed from the schools and replaced with sugar free, high protein products.
She investigated the school lunch menus and found that she could change the children’s eating habits, which she claimed was causing obesity, and zeroed in on the school cafeteria’s.
As written in other articles, a pre-kindergarten child had the “lunch police” take from her the lunch she carried to school from home, and gave her a cafeteria tray which was supposedly a lunch that was recommended by the USDA.
When cattle are butchered, as with any butchered animal there are parts left over that are not harmful, but not fit for human consumption. Those parts consist of trimmings left over from the choice cuts, and sinew. Sinew is a tough band of fibrous that connects muscle to the bone.
The USDA scientific department found a way to utilize the left over parts. What better place is there to serve this unethical mixture than in a school lunch. It saves the schools money, and the children will never know the difference. This concoction is served also to prisoners and in Military mess halls.
The “leftovers” from the butchering process is meshed together, put through a sterilizing operation of ammonium hydroxide and spun in a centrifuge. The result is PINK SLIME.
The Pink Slime is mixed into the meat creating a ground beef consistency.
Prisoners, Military and school children have complained that the “ground beef” they are served smells like or taste like ammonia. Rightfully it should.
Burger King, McDonalds and Taco Bell have stopped using the Pink Slime, but the public schools around the country continue. The USDA claims that once the pink slime is added, a pound of ground beef cost only three cents per pound.
In essence, it does not matter if the children are eating healthy, what matters is the government is in control of the money saved by feeding the children food that is not fit to feed a dog.
The Obama girls, who attend the Sidwell-Friends school have much different lunch selections. Their selections are; zucchini bread, apples and cheese for a snack. Lunch menus consist of French dip with Au Jus, Yellow rice, steamed broccoli, chicken Fajitas,
Cinnamon orange slices, for Sasha who is in lower school. For Malia who is in higher school, her menu changes to a food group different from her sisters. It mainly consist of, Tomato Basil soup, Market Pasta, Salad du Jour
Organic Spinach Salad, Phily cheese steak, Roasted local Squash, organic baked French fries and Pineapple Gratin.
Perhaps the Obama mommy and daddy appreciate the fact that their daughter’s enjoy the delicacies that only the rich who can afford an elite school such as Sidwell-Friends can afford. But should they eat any better than other children simply because they are the President’s kids? Aren’t all American children entitled to the best nutritional lunches available?
Why should other children be forced, as the little 4-year old North Carolina child was, to eat the remaining trimmings from the cow carcass, instead of enjoy the same food served to the Obama girls in their school? Why must the children in the public schools eat the same type foods served to hardened criminals?
WHY? Because Michelle Obama said so. She had to prove to America that she too had a part to perform as the FLOTAS. She began her extravagant journey with the school aged children and her hard core control of what they are to eat. She and the USDA made the decision that the “commoners” should eat what they proclaim to be nutritional healthy meals, but are in fact eating what should be destroyed after the slaughtering of a beef cow.
The USDA in 2009 bought from slaughtering houses, 5.5 million pounds of Pink Slime. Recently they bought another 7 million pounds. Those figures prove that public school children who are forced in many instances to eat school lunches, are consuming left over “scraps” from butchered animals, plus ingesting ammonium hydroxide.
It brings to mind the rise in cancer rates among children…but it only cost the school three cents per pound, saving the government and the public school systems a ton of GREEN money.
