“Do as I say, not as I do.” Has this become the motto of the political landscape?
It came to the attention of the American public one of the reasons politicians will spend $100’s of thousands of dollars in salary and perks to win political office. As a U.S. Congressman or Senator, they can engage in insider trading, “legally”, because they wrote the law.

This illegal and immoral privilege (rights and advantages enjoyed by elite), bestowed onto politicians, by politicians, is not enjoyed by the general public. Is the President of the United States subject to this same privilege, yes and more. In view of this proven and exposed fact, any person running for the highest office in the land, should have moral standards at the highest level available. But, what should some of those morals be?
Having Presidential candidates unwilling to promote the Constitution of the United States indicates a willingness and intent to ignore the Constitution. If the founding documents of the country are in effect and protected and defended, a failure to voice a willingness and intent to protect; implies an intent to undermine.
Presidential Candidates should represent a political “Light on the Hill”. The elected President represents all of the United States, not just a few as the current President does. Protecting illegal aliens, government gun running, and other illegal – government sponsored crimes, does nothing to promote the United States as a free country. Representing all the people is not a simple task and is compounded many times over as the Chief Executive of the United States.
A President of the United States that does not esteem the United States is not a President. If they bow down before other countries, they represent no one but themselves. This is what we have in office now. A failure to elect a real American to represent the United States as President, places another Obama in office. Once is enough, now is the time to place a Conservative in office. Not a Republican or Democrat corporate or socialist stooge.
