Today I entered my polling place and voted according to my preferences and conscience. However, I noticed an issue seldom addressed, but often causing distress. The issue is how amendments and issues are written for the ballot.
How difficult is it to write in plain and simple English? In this new and ignorant age of all inclusiveness, is it so difficult to write in a manner that every one can read and understand?
How difficult is it to say; "...this change in the law will make it illegal for anyone to do, have, or say such and such..." Instead, we the "ordinary tax paying and law abiding
citizens" must seek the assistance of a lawyer to understand what is written, that is, if even they can understand it.
Because of this issue, I want to know if you, the reader, would support me if I ran for Congress in the year 2016. I promise to offer laws written in simple and understandable English and oppose governmental confusion, and that's just for beginners. If you like the idea, go to my contact page and let me know. This will give me an idea as to how many people are tired of the "double talking liars."
