On November 4th, citizens of the state of Tennessee will be voting on "Amendment 1" to the state constitution. Before deciding this is not an issues worthy of a residents or none residents attention, consider this question; If a vote can be taken on an amendment to the State of Tennessee's Constitution, when was the "Constitutional Convention" held?
According to the State of Tennessee Constitution, Article XI, Section 3, paragraph 2, states a constitutional convention must be held to amend the state constitution. If this provision to the State of Tennessee Constitution, has been amended, the people, (citizens) have already render their civil responsibilities over to elected Legislators. If this is not the case, an attempt is being made to force surrender of individual rights for the sake of performing abortions at state expense.
How so? Read and consider this; (Shall Article 1, of the Constitution of Tennessee be amended by adding the following language as a new, appropriately designated section:
[Nothing in this Constitution secures or protects a right to abortion or requires the funding of an abortion. The people retain the right through their elected state representatives and stat senators to enact, amend, or repeal statutes regarding abortion, including, but not limited to, circumstances of pregnancy resulting from rape or incest or when necessary to save the life of the mother.])
If this is passed, the citizens of the State of Tennessee, will no longer be able to stop abortions with their vote. State legislators are more easily purchased than an entire state of citizens. Vote no, or abortionist will kill your grandchildren, and children, through bought legislators.
