This may be a difficult pill to swallow, but “You are what you do, if you do not believe in Jesus Christ”.
Right about now, some of you are ready to scream, “I hate getting conned into reading this “Jesus Junk”.
First, let me point out, you have not been forced to read this, nor have you been forced to be a prisoner of what you do on and off the job. You, as a human being, are free to consider different options or to completely ignore any and all other possibilities to any situation in life. Nothing in life is totally without options. However, it should be admitted, not all situations off desirable options for consideration. And, this brings up the question of “Jesus Junk”, which means, don't be in such a big hurry to pitch this.
No human being on this earth is demanded by Jesus Christ to follow him. He does not threaten you with physical injury, nor does he threaten your family. Judea Christianity does not call for the conversion of the individual or whole groups to follow Jesus Christ or face death. This is in accordance with the New Testament. You may say; “That's not what I heard. In some countries, if you are not a Christian, they kill you.”
If that is the case, stay out of that country, if there is one. But, there are countries that demand you follow the state religion or face persecution and even death. Can you name which religions make such demands? Consider this; “If a religion demands you follow it or face injury or death, is it worth anyone following it?” Here is the largest difference between Christianity and other religions.
“JESUS CHRIST DOES NOT DEMAND YOU FOLLOW HIM. HE INVITES YOU TO BELIEVE IN HIM BY FAITH, NOT BY THREAT. JESUS WANTS TO PROVE TO YOU HIS GOODNESS AND ABSOLUTE LOVE.”
This is a question you should ask yourself. “Do I believe and follow what I believe and follow out of fear or do so in faith?” Where a person places their faith plays a huge part in their daily lives. Consider this; Matthew 9:21-22.
“For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.
“But Jesus turned him about and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort, thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.” (KJV)
The question you must answer is; “What do I believe in that gives me this kind of faith and evidence of faith fulfilled?” If you can't definitively answer this question, looking to Jesus Christ is the answer.
This is what Jesus Christ is offering, an invitation to mankind to be made whole, through him. But, some would say, “I am whole and don't need to be made so.” Now the question becomes; “Are you really? Are you trying to fill the empty void you feel late at night, when no one is around? Are you alone in the mist of a crowd? Have you been using some thing to fill the void, and are coming up empty?
I will tell you, THIS IS A VOID ONLY JESUS CHRIST CAN FILL. LET HIM MAKE YOU WHOLE AND FILL THE EMPTINESS YOU FEEL WITH THE JOY OF HIS LOVE. ASK HIM TO COME INTO YOU HEART AND HE WILL GIVE YOU A PEACE THAT ONLY CAN BE FOUND THROUGH HIM.
Job 22:21 "Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee." (KJV)
